The 2nd Annual Mechanical Masquerade: A Paranormal Fantasy

The esteemed members of The Artifice Club cordially invite you to the Second Annual Mechanical Masquerade at Blue Mark Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Peer in wonder at the rift created in space and time by those who brought you The Weird West Saloon and The Clockwork Carnival. Marvel at as an elaborate environment and place of mythic creatures swallows you whole and turns you back out with new eyes to see the world in a different way... should you escape! The Artifice Club is proud to reveal to its esteemed members and guests, “A Paranormal Fantasy”.
The story of the evening revolves around the infamous Montague Jacques Fromage who unknowingly tore a hole in the fabric of existence as we know it with one of his experimental curiosities in service to Her Majesty. Charmed and mystified by the splendor of magic and strange technologies seeping into the world, he plans a great ball with his good friends and colleagues of The Artifice Club right on that magical rift. All of his plans were going beautifully for the most resplendent ball that anyone has ever seen until Montague finds that not everyone is so amused by the two worlds co-existing. A creature so fierce, so great and so frightening threatens the very realm of man in hopes to keep his world pure and to prevent his world from corruption. His name is IK, King of the Trolls, and to his mind - this world of science and logic are no place for his home of magic, and wonder. He would have all but destroyed our world if it were not for the brave and crafty words of Montague. He proposed a wager.
Come experience a place and time where two worlds have collided and creatures of magic and machine have melded, come see where the dead walk amongst the living and fairies light upon the trees. See creations of artistic majesty in the Fantasia de Mode, a fashion show with Megan Maude, Venusian Airship Trading Company, and the House of Canney. Come hear the beautiful tones of music one can make when struck by magical muses. Most importantly, come to tell stories and be the most that Man and Woman can be. This is a place where automatons have souls, and time has no meaning. Prove to IK that the world of Man is not just a world of science and mechanical tinkering with no imagination. With the help of the amazing musical talents of The Vauxhall Garden Variety Players, The Ghosts Project, and the one and only Mezmer Society! Doc Volz with his Steampunk Trunk providing mysticism and wonder on the main stage with the help of Atlanta’s own Evan Renolyds: Parlour Magician Extraordinaire! Come join the Artifice Club and help make the otherworld folk understand that we are not just logic and science, that we have a magic of our own within us, and that the two worlds can exist together! Help Monsieur Fromage settle this wager between Man and this strange new world of Magic! Contests - why yes there are! Enter the Street Team contest - which will be in the month of October and leading up to the event, the Costume Contest, and the Story Telling Competition.

- $20, in advance, $25 at the door for General Membership (Additional Memberships listed below). - $2 to park, cash only. - Black Tie Formal Wear with Mask OR Theme-Appropriate Costume REQUIRED. If not in costume, you may be asked to leave or purchase a mask from the lovely Dread Sisters. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR COSTUME VIOLATIONS. |

- General: Advance membership to the Masquerade, at $5 off door price.
- Elite: Membership to the Masquerade, exclusive access to the Patron's Salon with a selection of hors d'oeuvres, and a two (2) concession tickets. Discount offered if purchased as a pair.
- Noble: Membership to the Masquerade, exclusive access to the Patron's Salon with a selection of hors d'oeuvres, three (3) concession tickets, and a complementary gift. Discount offered if purchased as a pair.
- The Grand Patron: One one such membership offered. The Grand Patron gain two memberships into the Masquerade (one for yourself, plus a guest of your choice), exclusive access to the Patron's Salon above, four (4) concession tickets, a complimentary gift, your own table for the show itself, and your personae will be worked into the story of the event in conjunction with the artistic directors.
