Event Memberships
Membership with the Club for our Events has a variety of levels like any social society. These Memberships apply to Artifice Club events only, and do not necessarily apply to functions which the Club participates in, such as conventions or festivals.
NOTE: Memberships to Club events are non-refundable. We do not send out paper tickets, but we log all memberships at the Will-Call desk. If you cannot attend, we trust you to transfer your membership on your own accord and notify us of whom will be claiming your membership on your behalf. Event memberships are purchased on the individual event pages.
General Membership. Those who help with event proceeds through monetary donations are default members of the Club. They come from all manners of society, and in some cases hail from far off worlds, time periods, dimensions, or arrive via airship or some other strange contraption. They are the life blood of the Club and its core base. General Memberships can be purchased at the door or secured in advance for a discount, depending on the venue. General Memberships are the only ones available for purchase at the door to Club events. While we expect all our general members to dress appropriately, we offer a discount at the door to all who arrive in the proper attire. Members who purchase their tickets in advance are expected to dress to impress.
Elite Membership. Elite Members are those who pay a premium to attend Club functions, and in so doing gain privileges according to said status. In addition to general membership to Club events, Elite members are permitted special seating arrangements and oftentimes are given additional incentives on a per event basis. Limited Elite Membership passes are available on a per-event basis.
Noble Membership. Noble Memberships are the upper echelon of the Club’s society. These grand patrons gain special membership access to Club events. In addition to special seating, the Nobles of the Club's event are treated to special gifts exclusive to their rank on a per-event basis. Example gifts include a complementary bottle of wine, tea service, or invitation to participate as an arbiter of a Club contest. An even more limited number of Noble Membership passes are available on a per-event basis.
Guests. Guests are non-members admitted into Club events. People who have no desire to join the Club per se yet, but do enjoy the society functions we host. Guests gain entry into events through special request or dispensation, and do not pay for entry. Guests may include hired performers, press, or special exceptions. Guests are not required to dress to theme, but it couldn't hurt.
